Data Analyst - Sustainability/ESG
Job description:
ESGmark® is looking for a sustainability-focused evaluation analyst to join our fast-growing business. This exciting role will primarily be responsible for working in our carbon footprint measurement service, which is experiencing high demand. The role would suit a motivated and passionate individual who enjoys data analysis and can produce high quality and exceptionally detailed evaluation reports. Ability to work independently to deadlines and confidence to interact with clients and key project stakeholders are also important. Previous experience conducting carbon footprint calculations and evaluating reduction measures for businesses are a bonus but not essential.
This is a remote role that would suit an individual looking for part-time, flexible work alongside their studies or other commitments. We envisage the role could offer c.3-8 hours per week, with an opportunity to increase depending on performance. Additional hours are likely around project deadlines.

Responsibilities will include:
Carbon footprint measurement project work - data collection, analysis and evaluation
Create detailed reports guiding clients through the calculation outputs and suggested carbon reduction measures.
Communicate directly with clients and data owners, guiding them through the process as well as supporting them through any challenges.
Work with the founders to ensure and maintain quality throughout process.
Qualifications/Key skills required:
Passion for ESG/sustainability - relevant work experience is a bonus
Previous experience conducting carbon footprint calculations is a bonus but not essential
Excellent data analysis skills and proficient in excel
Excellent writing skills and ability to produce high quality written work in a timely manner consistent with our company’s tone
Excellent command of written English
Experience with existing sustainability standards
Great people skills and confident conversationalist

Genuine desire to help change the world for the better
Good organisational skills
