In addition, our solutions help keep our partners and their businesses legally compliant and working efficiently and effectively.
We are a responsible organisation, proud to be a member of the ESGmark® community. Delivering an Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) agenda that really helps make a difference is important to us. We have spent some time looking at what this means for our business and our stakeholders, allowing us to develop our materiality assessment, ensuring it aligns with our chosen six Key Sustainability Development Goals (SDG’s) and agreeing our overall commitment and approach to achieving these. The ESGMark certification compliments and supports us achieving our UN Global Compact and Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitments already made.
With customers across a whole range of sectors and industries, from social housing and renewable energy to manufacturing and agriculture, it’s important to us that our ESG priorities are meaningful and relevant. We are excited about sharing our progress on this front as we focus on delivering several key initiatives, which will drive our ambitious sustainability commitments, for example.
Ongoing growth and development, both organically and by acquisition, is important to us across the BES Group. We are pleased to have welcomed a number of businesses to our Group since 2019, all enhancing our risk management solution offering. In doing so, we have ensured we can provide our customers with a single solution for their complete testing, inspection, certification and compliance needs.
When acquiring new businesses, we ensure we are only focusing on responsible, people and customer driven companies that will help drive the ESG agenda of the wider BES Group. This will continue to be important to us as we welcome more organisations over the coming months and years.
