The ¡HOLA! brand is a meeting point for people of all generations. It aims to inform and entertain, covering current news and trends through print and digital editions, websites, TV and social networks. ¡HOLA! is much more than a magazine; it is a complete media offering that has evolved over eight decades to meet the needs of its audience in the most up-to-date way. But its purpose has never wavered: we do our best, day by day, to make the world a kinder place by providing a view of life that is both principled and beautiful.
¡HOLA! magazine was launched in 1944 in Spain. It was the fulfilment of a dream for its founders, Antonio Sánchez Gómez and Mercedes Junco Calderón, a young couple who were determined to pioneer a fresh type of journalism. Full of positive content and very visual, ¡HOLA! transports its readers to glamorous worlds they might not otherwise enter, where fascinating anecdotes entertain and moving love stories inspire them. It's what we call "the froth of life": as buoyant and sparkling as champagne bubbles. With this winning concept, its founders made ¡HOLA! magazine a huge hit in their country.
Now fast forward to today, and ¡HOLA! is much more than a magazine; it is a multi-platform media network, reaching an audience of 13 million people in almost 20 countries and seven languages. In addition to our print and digital editions, we have 12 websites. Our ¡HOLA! TV channel broadcasts across the Americas, while ¡HOLA! Play offers TV online.
