A guide to the UN SDGs
The ESGmark® Guide to the UN Sustainable Development Goals
The UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were created in 2012 to provide an interconnected guide to a more sustainable future, by addressing the urgent environmental, economic and political global challenges we face. The ambition is to achieve the targets by 2030. T
In this guide, we provide a summary of what the sustainable goals are, why they are important, actionable suggestions on how to help tackle the issues and what the UN response has been to Covid-19. There are many ways we can help all achieve these targets and we have selected a few actions points for each goal, which are by no means exhaustive. We hope this paper acts as a solid foundation to highlight the challenges we face globally and encourages discussion and evaluation about how we might all adapt our behaviours and actions, personally and within a business environment, to help to achieve the goals.
