ESGmark® supports Tushinde

At the end of every year, we make a modest donation in support of a charity chosen by our team. This year, we were delighted to support Tushinde Children’s Trust (Registered Charity No. SC 041330 (Scotland) & 1189460 (Charity Commission)).

Tushinde Children’s Trust was founded in March 2010. It was set up after Megan Wright, a British woman living in Kenya, visited a project working in Mathare Valley, Nairobi. Tushinde provides social protection, free education, and psychological support to children from extremely poor families. Often these children have lost one or both of their parents to HIV and are being brought up by relatives or neighbours. Tushinde is now well established in the Mathare and Kiambiu communities and has links with the schools, clinics and community groups in the area.
