FROM OUR FOUNDERS - WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES

Wow, just WOW! That neatly sums up our reaction to the events of the last year. We have been deeply humbled, overjoyed and enthused by just how supportive and passionate the reception has been to ESGmark®.

We set out on our own, conscious personal ESG journey a number of years ago, our aim being to raise awareness, provide knowledge and simplify a very complex subject matter. It became apparent very quickly that others were seeking to do the same, whether as individuals or for their businesses and organisations. Everyone we spoke to had an insatiable appetite for an increased understanding of the topic and a palpable desire to, “do better.” We kept running into the same question, “How can I improve and communicate my organisation's ESG credentials?”

Consequently, ESGmark® was born. Like many businesses, we found ourselves taking multiple detours en route to an unknown destination. The website was thus launched in June 2020 and the company immediately began awarding the ESGmark® to applicants who could prove they met the necessary requirements.

We were quickly dealing with an influx of applications, from all over the world and from an array of sectors. ESGmark® is now a rapidly growing global community of members, from Europe’s fastest growing stock exchange, reusable coffee cups in Australia, toiletry and beauty products in Singapore, to electric scooters in the U.K. and media companies in North America. Our followers are in the thousands, growing rapidly by the day and likewise spread across the globe.

We have a wonderful and growing team of ESGmark® colleagues, advisers and ambassadors. In combination with our members and followers they represent a powerful, like-minded community, with a shared purpose, all seeking to help each other, promote best practice and create positive business introductions. We have been incredibly touched and are immensely enthused every time we see our community members proudly displaying the ESGmark® on their products, websites and marketing material. As a company it means we approach each day with renewed vigour, not just because we are motivated by the prospects for ESGmark® but because of the passion for the subject matter that all of you have demonstrated and that gives us immense hope for a better tomorrow.

So after one year, we just wanted to say a BIG thank you. You have all made ESGmark® the success it has become! We can’t wait to continue helping you and others on our respective ESG journeys of continuous improvement!
